Tell us about you?

I’m Ayesha and I’m a QA engineer which means I’ve got to think about all the products from all possible viewpoints.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself?

I have always wanted to have a baby camel as a pet.

What is your biggest fear?

My biggest fear is my inability to create a balance between my professional and personal life.

Why did you join Kano?

I joined Kano because it’s not just a tech company — it’s like an institution and it’s actually making a difference and making lives better.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

I initiated the digitization process at my previous company and lead the project as a Junior product owner.

If you could give your younger self 1 piece of advice, what would it be?

One advice I’d give to my younger self is to be patient. Things work out at a natural pace — forcing things doesn’t really help.

What is the single most valuable thing you’ve ever learned?

One thing that I’ve learned in the last few years is that you don’t have to have big plans. If you have got a goal, it’s perfectly fine to start taking baby steps towards it.

My guilty pleasure is…

My passion is creative and liberal arts. I’ve been called a fashionista at times and I agree.

In the next 5 years, the biggest thing I want to achieve is…

In the next five years, I want to have a really good balance between my personal and professional life. I hope I’ll reach the perfect work/life balance I’m always striving for.

How would your colleagues describe you?

My colleagues will probably tell you she’s always running around with her headphones on. (We won’t disagree here😂)

If you want to know more about Ayesha, say hey!
