The Top Kano World Creations — February Edition

In the month of love and snow, Kano World has been bursting with fun creations. Our software, including Make Art, Pixel Motion, and Kano Code, has provided the opportunity for hundreds of users to bring their imagination to life.

As months go on, we see clear trends and themes emerge from what creations are shared. Whether it’s the same shapes or designs, or just a particular software becoming the favorite of the community that week.

February was a big month for Kano, with our re-brand launching earlier in the month. Our new logo became the biggest hit of the month. Over 30 different creations, reimagined our new white and orange logo. From a rainbow animation to a chocolate-melting KANO, we saw creativity flood Kano World.

But that wasn't the only piece of breathtakingly brilliant pixel art or coding masterpiece. Here is our favorite across February 2021.

Harry Pixel Potter

by Legox50

Without a doubt one of the greatest creations in Kano World history. Legox50 has given Harry every detail possible in the pixel world. From the shading under his eyes to the different color hair. It doesn’t get much better than this.

Retro Meme Work

by artist5star

It’s not every day that we get something purely original, but in February 2021 we were treated to this retro shape masterpiece. Artist5star’s creation could have been a New Order or Tame Impala album cover. We can feel the coolness bouncing off this Make Art creation.

by SweetPuppy34

This is so cute. Two fantastic Kano World users coming together to bring us the latest from the Kano Community. Take it away…

And that is what a got for today on News from Kano: A Coding Community. Happy Valentines Day to all!!’

Pokemon Spiral

by womprat08

This ever-changing Pokemon ball spiral design has us mesmerized. We’ve watched it at least ten times and we never get bored. Made with just code, and it never gets old.

Teenage Mutant Pixel Turtles

by ComicCreator

Leonardo never looked so tough. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a fan favorite and will always be a great idea for a Kano World creation. This fun pixel art has been giving us retro vibes this month.

Professor Albus Dumbledore

by Code_Hayne1

Harry Potter seems to get a lot of love right now on Kano World. We had Harry, now we have this brilliant Dumbledore rocking his purple robe and casting spells all day long. Thank you, Code Hayne!

Simple Cat

by ChocozWolfyCrafts

Come on. Look at her. You can’t resist the cuteness.

PixelMan

by dUck_Alpha

Spiderman, Spiderman! Does whatever a spider he can. Spins a web any size, Catches thieves, just like flies. Look out! Here comes Spiderman! Is he strong? Listen, Bud! He’s got radioactive blood. Can he swing from a thread? Take a look overhead. Hey there, there goes the Spiderman!

New Kano

by Joe

We had a new logo this month, and well it broke Kano World. We had over 30 submissions of users sending their fun colorful creations.

Waves For Days

by DazzlingHippo6

We don’t see many creations like this beautiful artwork by DH6, but as Spring is starting we felt this Pixel Motion creation deserved huge praise for its simplicity. The levels of colour that change on the sky and water are subtly genius, we would love to see more of these.

Calculator

by Hedgehog18

Not all Kano World creations are full of art and traditional aesthetic. This creation on Kano Code from Hedgehog18 was truly something. Creating your own calculator from code! A huge benchmark win there, and with this user, we can only see them getting better.

Lady Liberty

by Legox50

Our final creation of the month we had to share, is easily one of the best artistic creations we have ever seen on Kano World. The shading of the lady of liberty is brilliant, bringing the object into the 3-D world just by using pixels.

What do you think of these works of art? Did we miss out on any of your favorites? Let us know on social media.

The good kind of screen time. Computers and software for a new generation.
